Angels over London

One of the highlights of the ‘summer like no other’ programme was ‘Bell’s', a collaborative spectacle created by Theatre Tol (Belgium) and Akademi South Asian Dance (UK).

The production combines classical indian Kathak dance and aerial theatre and was first devised as part of the India Now Festival in Trafalgar Square. Featuring aerial directed by Lot Seuntjens and the choreography of Kumudini Lakhia, with additional choreography by Urja Desai Thakore and Amina Khayyam, the show toured to Barnet, Black Heath and Turnham Green, bringing outdoor arts to new audiences.
