Block 9

Glastonbury Festival 2010
Production Manager and Area Organiser

Renowned for their radical set designs, Block9 created bars and club venues within a jaw-dropping landscape that included London Underground (a six-story tower block with a Northern Line tube carriage crashed into its fifth floor) and NYC Downlow (a New York tenement recreated with 70s advertising hoarding and a yellow taxi-cab installed on top of a wall). Another memorable venue was Pale Blue Door, a ramshackle, two-storey New Orleans mansion and restaurant (an installation by Tony Hornecker). Block 9 established itself as an unmissable experience at Glastonbury Festival

The Block9 area of Glastonbury is one of the most remarkable sights at the festival.
